Hello
folks,
Well, we did it! Finished decorating for the holidays and
we're
now in full swing for wrapping gifts, spending time
with family and friends,
and goiing to some gatherings this
weekend. The kids love the candy canes we
put on the tree
and have been asking when can they start eating them. I
had
bought 25 or so and so if you divide that by the five of us
there's a
ration of one a day each. So I finally said they
could eat one starting on
Friday. That'll get us to Christmas
Eve anyway! Figured it'd be a fun way to
do the final countdown.
Just want to remind you that we're still underway
with a
December drawing for a free gift. Anyone residing in
the
continental USA can enter, including present subscribers. You
might
want to submit your name and email for a chance to

Although there's no time for shipping with us at this
point
to guarantee the items arrive before Christmas, you might
want to
consider getting a Giftsprings gift certificate at
this point and you CAN put
that under the tree or email the
code to your gift recipient. We can also
email you a photo
and description of an item you purchase to arrive
after
the holiday so you can print it out and put that under the
tree if
you'd like.
Elsewhere, I'd suggest quickie gifts you could pick up
could
be books, dvd's, music cd's, gift certificates to other
places, and
hand made "love" coupons with freebies by you for
your gift recipient. Also,
flowers can be a good last minute
gift. Another idea- buy or make their
special dessert treats
(Milky Way bars, chocolate chip cookies, donut holes,
altoids,
banana bread, whatever! And if your gift recipient must
avoid
sugar, stuff their stockings with sugar free candies and
treats.
Most of these things you can find at a local supermarket or
24
hour store. So these are good last minute ideas.
We've purchased a
mailing list management program that we'll be
changing over to. As we are
just setting it up and getting used
to it I feel I should warn you in case
you get anything wacky
from us over the next few mailings to you. Hopefully
you won't
notice a thing while we change over to our new system, but
if
you do get anything in error or strange from us, please let us
know so
we can annoy you less and try to fix or not repeat
the same
mistake.
Also, we're taking a holiday break so your next
newsletter
will be out in about 3 weeks this time around.
Finally, I'd

Celebrate You at
Year's End!

It's almost
Christmas, just about the end of this year,
and,the beginning of a whole new
year. Time goes fast when
we're very busy, or creeps by when we're struggling
or
bored. Are you feeling at peace with the ending of this
year and the
beginning of the New Year? Do you think
you should celebrate your life this
year?
This is a great time to reflect on what's happened with
you and
your choices this past year. Time to decide if
you like where you're going in
the various aspects of
your life or if you're wanting to make new decisions
and
set new goals for yourself. Have you progressed towards
realizing your
goals sufficiently? If not, you may want
to consider a consultation with a
business consultant or
a personal consultant like a therapist, coach or
mentor.
Perhaps you've kept some of your ideas and goals under
wraps from
others. If so, another source or information,
support, or guidance could be
from a trusted family member
or friend.
If you're doing OK to well,
you should celebrate! Whatever
your situation, if you're doing fine, then
celebrate! Even if
you're a one man or one woman small business throw
yourself a
company holiday party or dinner of sorts, and invite
your
important others who have supported you in your endeavors.
If
you're unhappy with your goals and progress, you need
to look at making some
changes or you'll stay stuck in the
same old routine and with the same
results. But guess what?
You should celebrate too!
Why? If you're
willing to look at your situation, you're a
brave soul and if you're daring
to change and do something
different,you're braver yet. So you should pat
yourself on the
back and take yourself and a favorite buddy out on the town
or
out for a special dinner. Or, make one yourself, but make it
different,
something worthy of you, your drive, your
persistence, your
dreams.
You can celebrate in other ways. Celebrate your life
by
spending time in a favorite activity, by going to a special
place with
a favorite person, by shopping for something you've
been wanting, or by
showering others you care about with
special surprise words and
deeds.
It's important to celebrate you and your life. You are
always
creating your life and impacting those around you with
your
existence. Though you may not feel in top shape here and again,
know
that your life is important, has meaning for you and
others,and warrants
celebrating!
