Shipping
PROCESSING AND PACKAGING YOUR ORDER, ESTIMATING ARRIVAL TIME
We process and ship your order as soon as possible.
Typical order processing/fulfillment time prior to shipping
your order is 24-72 hours during open business week days.
To estimate how long it will take to receive
your purchase, add together processing/fulfillment
time plus actual shipping carrier time unless we
specify estimates as time until delivery or time until
arrival of your order or items, in which case we would
be including the up to 2-3 days until the order ships
processing time. Please see
the "Shipping Time Estimates" section below for help in
figuring out the expected time of arrival for your order.
However, remember there are
exceptions to these with special
order "custom", "personalized" or "engraved" items! See specific item
descriptions or personalized item categories for item
specific estimated production/delivery times.
A few select items ship via US Postal Service Mail.
These include, for example, print catalogs, and may also
be mailed separately from any other merchandise you may order.
Other specific items may have different processing and
shipping times. Most items ship via UPS (a few FedEx, or DHL,
or DHL at home/USPS alliance) depending
on the items ordered). Please refer
to specific item descriptions or areas of the
website for any special shipping time frames that
may be specified as well. For instance, in the frequently
asked questions of
the engraved stones, you'll see an estimate of 3-5 weeks
for arrival of custom engraved stones. This is because
they are
a custom product that can take slightly longer to
prepare prior to shipping and also depends on orders
already in queue or in process for production at the
engraved stones workshop.
SHIPPING METHODS
+ Standard/Normal Ground Shipping:
UPS/FedEx/Ground DHL at Home/USPS alliance/or USPS
(depending on items ordered)
+ Rush Service/Shipping: DHL, UPS, FEDEX or
other carrier (typically air or 3 day ground select)
A shipping and handling charge will be
added to your order during the check-out procedure.
Your shipping charges are based on the package
destination and the dollar amount of your order.
Shipping charges are automatically
calculated for you during the ordering procedure.
Due to the high costs of air freight, we recommend you select standard ground shipping
whenever possible. If you wish
to have rush shipping, you can select that air freight option.
(Remember when calculating time of
arrival for your package to also add in 24-48 hrs on open business
days, for the
initial processing, packaging and shipping out of your order.)
WHERE WE WILL SHIP AND WHERE WE DON'T
Please note that we will only
ship to within the 48 contiguous states in the
United States with a choice of
ground shipping or air freight. We will also ship to
Alaska and Hawaii (and non-continental US territories and possessions, including
Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, Marshall Islands, Mariana Islands, Palau and Micronesia),
but the customer will only be presented the air mail option when requested to select a shipping
method during checkout and you will need to allow for additional
shipping time to your destination. We do not
otherwise ship internationally at this time, unless specifically noted in this
shipping information section. We also do not ship to AP or APO addresses.
Most of our customers choose the standard ground shipping option which is less expensive and
takes approximately 9-13 business days of time for arrival
of your order.
However, we do offer the rush air shipping method
for those customers that need their items to
arrive more quickly.
SHIPPING TIME ESTIMATES
PLEASE PLACE YOUR ORDERS EARLY and with sufficient lead
time to receive your order before your needs.
Shipping and handling times are approximate and not
guaranteed. Typically allow up to
9-13 business days for
delivery of items shipped via standard ground shipping
during non-holiday time periods and
allow up to 1-2 additional days just in case when it's
near holiday and seasonal periods.
This estimate includes the up to 2-3 business days until your
order ships. If you select
Rush Shipping, typically allow 5-7 business
days
for arrival of your items. This estimate
includes the up to 2-3 business
days until your order ships.
Remember that there are
some exceptions to these delivery time estimates typically
in regards to when you order personalized or custom/engraved items!
If so, then see specific item
descriptions and/or personalized item categories for those
items' specific estimated production/delivery times.
Freight time varies by your location and where our
merchandise is
shipping from. Since we manufacture some items in house,
and have
arrangments with various manufacturers and distributors
in different
locations around the United States to bring you an extensive
selection of quality giftware and home decor products,
the products ship from different warehouses or locations
with most of the products shipping to you from California,
Oregon, and/or Florida. Most non-personalized items will
ship from California. We are an online business only and so
we do not have a warehouse for you to pick up merchandise
from nor a showroom for visiting. We offer an online
showroom instead and all orders are shipped directly to
customers (even if you happen to live in our general vicinity).
Currently we do not send out shipping notices so do not be
concerned if you do not receive one! If you have received an
order reference number at the end of checking out with
your online order, you can feel confident that we received
your order and it is processing normally according to our
typical time estimates or special ones posted by specific personalized
items, for example. If there is any issue of concern with your order,
we will contact you at the billing email address you
provided with your order.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING FEES
Below are usual shipping and handling rates
that apply to orders. Shipping charges include
processing, packaging and shipping costs. These charges are
automatically added on to your order when you are checking out. (If
we offer any discount or sale on shipping charges or free shipping offers, the discounted
rates will apply instead of the below rates, as specified in our advertisement, and
will apply only to ground shipping freight and handling charges. Air
freight charges will remain unchanged and as specified
below). There are selected products that are offered with free ground shipping
included or that have been priced with shipping costs factored into the price for the product. The descriptions
on the categories and/or within the description for these selected products clearly identify any such special reduced shipping offer. Finally,
you may wish to consult our promotions page to see if we are running any shipping specials for retail customers.
Important Notice for Wholesale Customers:
Your shipping and other fees associated with
your purchase are those listed on your printable Wholesale
Distributor Order Form and is calculated
for you automatically for your online orders to reflect those rates.
Wholesale and retail shipping rates are computed differently; the below
shipping rates do not apply to wholesale customers. Also, wholesale customers please check your
Wholesale Support Center for any shipping or other promotions that may occasionally
be available to you.

OTHER SHIPPING RELATED INFORMATION
We are pleased that most of our customers are fully satisfied with the quality and value of our products. We want you to know that we appreciate your business and confidence.
It is infrequent when a customer needs to place a claim for defective or damaged goods. Giftsprings makes a supreme effort to see that your orders are shipped correctly and that they reach you safely.
Most packages are packed with cushioning material when
packing your order.
In-stock status: Our normal in-stock status is 95%+. Should an item be temporarily out of stock, we will notify you immediately, advise if there might be a suitable
substitution item available in case you'd be interested in such a substitution, or credit back your account. If we are unable to reach you within a reasonably short time
frame, we will simply credit you back for any out of stock
item and ship out the rest of your order to you.
We do this so you do not wait for an indeterminate
amount of time for an order to ship to you. Also, some
customers prefer to choose an alternate item right away,
rather than to wait for an out of stock item.
We also would be happy to notify you if you are
interested in finding out when a currently out of
stock item is back in stock. Just let us know you would like
for us to give you such notification.
RETURN POLICY
Customers sometimes ask what our return policy is. We aim for
complete customer satisfaction. If you are not
completely happy with your purchase, we want to hear
about it. Let us know if something is wrong and we will
try to do what we can to make it right.
Returns: Our standard return policy: We offer a 30
day satisfaction guarantee against DEFECTIVE items ...
you must first obtain Giftsprings' authorization for
and instruction about a return and credit back for -
or - for return and replacement of, a defective item
and any such authorized return must be received by Giftsprings
within 30 days of your initial date of purchase. Please inspect all items on your orders immediately upon receipt so you can notify us of
any problem(s) about your order promptly and we can best assist you.
Simply email our customer support within 20 days of purchase (that will typically mean within 5-10 days of delivery of your order) and
we will give you further instructions on how to proceed
depending on your particular situation. Please provide
relevant details and reference your order number when writing to
us. In certain cases you may be asked to provide a copy of your
Giftsprings receipt or your shipment's packing slip for
your request
to be processed. When this is requested from you, just
forward a copy of your receipt or other purchase documentation to
us within the body of your email to support or fax it to us at
813-969-4387. Any refund or credit will be processed upon
receipt of your authorized return, or any replacement will be
made following receipt of your return. We do not reimburse
for return shipping costs.
Important: No items may be returned to Giftsprings without
a Return Authorization or the merchandise will be
considered an unauthorized return.
Special Exceptions to the Above:
NON-DEFECTIVE ITEMS that you wish to return,
as well as "UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS"
(packages mailed to Giftsprings that are not
authorized by us for return), will be credited
back to your account less a 20% RESTOCK FEE.
We also do not reimburse
the original shipping costs we incurred to
send you your order and we do not reimburse
for your return shipping costs.
Returns must be received by Giftsprings
within 30 days of the date of your purchase.
Cheesecakes or any other perishable items: We cannot
refund or exchange your cake if you provide us with an
incorrect shipping address, and the cake is late, or
undeliverable due to the bad address.
Personalized items, such as engraved stones, acrostic name
prints, or any other custom made products: No returns or
refunds on personalized or custom items. Also, we
cannot refund or exchange personalized or
custom made products due to an error on your part
with spelling or otherwise on your order to us.
If, however, we made an error, then of course we will
honor our satisfaction guarantee policies and
make the correction on a replacement item
or refund depending on what you prefer.
Items with Guarantees or Warranties: If a purchased item
includes a product guarantee or warranty, follow
the instructions on the guarantee or warranty for
repair or replacement.
A DAMAGED ITEM- Items damaged during
shipment: Contact us within 20 days of the date of
purchase of your order, and your claim will be
submitted to the shipping carrier immediately. Once the shipping carrier
investigates and approves our claim, we can reimburse you or attempt to replace
your damaged order. Note: Established procedures
by UPS, US Parcel Post, trucking lines, and DHL,
must be complied with or they have legal right to
deny your claim. Please keep all boxes and packaging materials for their possible inspection.
While we usually use USPS parcel post or UPS ground, we may
at times use other shipping methods or carriers to best accommodate
your order and package(s)(for instance we may ship an item
priority
mail. If we choose an upgraded shipping method for you without
your prior authorization, the upgrade
will be provided complimentary and at no additional cost to you.)
We will always attempt to get
your package to you in the most cost effective and
expedited manner.
