Use real or artificial plants as home decor accents that add impact and a fresh ambience to your room. You can use the plants strategically, too, to hide any ugly trouble spots in a room.

Live plants will work better if you are diligent in taking care of their watering and sun needs, while artificial plants work out best for folks that prefer a low maintenance alternative, or, for example, when decorating vacation homes or offices.
