Hit the nail on the head - Power Tools

Give a gift that keeps on giving… I’m sure we’ve all heard that tired old expression time and time again without taking a moment to offer it a second thought. But recently I’ve had a first hand experience with this adage that I’d like to share with everyone online today!

I gave my husband a set of new power tools last Christmas, and everyone has been pleasantly surprised by the shower of reciprocal gifts ever since! My initial gift wasn’t even anything particularly remarkable in the first place, just a much-needed re-stocking of his power tool collection with a few quality pieces from Trend tools and a trendy little Black & Decker tool too. He had been after a battery-powered Black & Decker 14.4V AutoSelect Combi Drill/Driver for a while, so knowing exactly what I wanted to buy took the hassles and homework out of the purchase, and I’ve been so impressed by the AutoSelect technology that I’ m tempted to have a go of it myself. It’s light-weight and easy to use on wood, steel and masonry, and it operates in two speeds in forward and reverse – see, it’s been a beneficial purchase all round, even I’ve become more power and hand tools savvy!

But the real pay-off has been the subsequent efforts of his labor! A cubby house for the kids, all the essential home improvements completed around the house, and even a new cupboard door in the living room… what more could I ask for? He’s much happier on the D.I.Y. job, as those niggling and annoying must-do tasks are now all the easier, which gives him time to get a little creative with projects like the cubby house and an extension of the patio. What more can I say? I really hit the nail on the head!
